=Do take note i might be updating this post another time=
yesterday, which was a friday, Howe invited me to is church for an occasion which was friend's night. Well at first, I didn't want to go knowing what kind of answers I would get; but i asked anyways and got thegreen light to go. So the day itself, before my prayers, met up with Kok Kin and Licia and had a small lunch together with them at J.Co Doughnuts. the doughuts there are way better compared to Dunkin's lol~ =D. After my prayers, I met up with Henry and Azuan at Ccozi and friend's the Korean restaurant in Asian avenue, Sunway Pyramid. Put the rest simple, I finally bought my slippers, bumped into a few sedayans I should have ran away frm == and bumped into the few sedayans I'd rather hang with =p. lol~
well was waiting for Howe since he's all the way in cheras now so I just hung out with them then. When Howe came, we played House of the dead 4 which we ended up better than last time, then sucked worse after that == aii~ crap lol. Well after that , we headed for the cafe for a small meal before the Friend's night.
Got to meet new people on the way there too. One was Tracey (i forgot her chinese name == opps) and...crap i forgot again ==. I will remember the next time we meet!! sorry! anyways, after that, we had short dinner then we got to the church for the Friend's night.
Just before the Friend's night started, I got to meet with Su Lip (correct the spelling if i'm wrong --") Well the friend's night thing was the best night i've ever had so far and i'm not exageratting =D. First thing we did was that we had to throw at least 30 shoes or slippers, walk around the bunch of it then rush hunt for your own shoe or slipper of u threw them in. lol I had to throw my newly bought slippers in there too. Well at first I was kinda hoping for my slippers not to get lost but then Howe reminded me that this isn't a mosque XD lol! When we all rushed, I found his shoe first...it IS hard to miss a shiny shoe when it's above your slippers =p
Moving onwards, they had to pick a few people from the crowd for what's soming nexy which was the 30 seconds of fame. out of a number of 10 people i think?, I was picked! =p lol but ended 3rd in the end out of the 5 picked. After the 30 sec of fame, the next performance was Shawn, a kid around...16 years old? well around there beatboxing and he's the best beatboxer I've seen so far.
Then they had a small talk about friendship. A very nice talk about how friends should support each other. A really enlightening talk. Honestly, throughout the whole night, that talk about friendship was the one that really caught my attention. The speaker was saying that friendship could just be found anywhere, whether it is religion or race that draws the line between the differences from just about anyone. A real friend is someone that will be by your side for the rest of your life and they will always encourage you to become the best of who you really are, support you, and give you a helping hand in your time of need. Well for those that didn't attend, you should have really been there to listen to the speaker, it really is a good speech to listen to. lol~
I may sound a lil odd but the talk really made me cherish and treasure whatever close friendship I have now. so you know who you are. thanks a million.
Had another small talk about this topic too about 3 years ago, when I was in form four. A guy called Zydar, was talking about it during lunch hour with me, Jimmy, Geoffrey and Micheal and Owen. He was saying quite a lot of things about friendship and how things will be in just a short time to come. At first, I thought that all he said was just empty words that won't come true but those empty words really was just a warning I didn't bother to give a damn...
